Case Competition 2018のご報告

TOPIC2018開催期間に合わせて、第5回SUNRISE Case Competitionを開催致しました。
Guest commentatorsとして、例年どおりKoreaからSeung-Woon Rha先生、Tae-Hoon Ahn先生を招聘。さらに前回優勝者の菱刈景一先生をjudgeとしてお招きし、TOPIC会場付近の会議室での開催となりました。
今年は参加ご希望のドクターが多く、事前に締め切るという前代未聞の事態となりました。そのため本番では、例年よりもやや短い時間でのプレゼンをお願いすることになりましたが、逆にエッセンスが抽出された非常に濃密な時間を過ごすこととなりました。
厳正なる採点の結果、8名の精鋭のうち『Best Presentation Award』は黄俊憲(こうとしのり)先生が受賞されました！このシュッとした若武者には今年のGuro live (10/18-20 Seoul) のinvited facultyとなっていただき、lecturerとライブの2nd operatorを務めていただくことになります。また、僅差で2名の若者が特別賞を受賞。両名にはEncore liveでfacultyとしてお仕事してきて頂きます。

Successful percutaneous thrombectomy of acute limb ischemia using Fogarty catheter
Conclusion: Percutaneous thrombectomy using a Fogarty balloon catheter was successfully performed for ALI. Endovascular treatment using a large bore sheath and Fogarty balloon catheter make it possible to remove massive thrombi.

A rare PCI case of RITA after CABG: the usefulness of the multimodality intravascular imaging
Conclusion: We experienced a rare PCI for RITA graft after CABG. The multimodality intravascular imaging was very useful to elucidate the pathological mechanism.

菊池進之介先生 (横浜市立大学附属市民総合医療センター)

A case of repeated recurrent acute coronary syndrome due to in-stent restenosis
Conclusion: Coronary artery inflammation caused by first-generation DES and Takayasu arteritis can be related to the mechanism of in-stent restenosis. Adventitial thickening on IVUS may be important findings of coronary artery inflammation.
